Ceramic Wall Tiles
Ceramic tiles are light weight clay-based tiles. They are pressed at a lower pressure rate and fired at lower temperatures than porcelain tiles. This manufacturing process means they are always finished with a durable glaze which carries the colour and pattern. This glaze can be either gloss or matte or in some instances, there can be an additive to the glaze that gives the tile an external rating.
Key benefits of ceramic tiles include:
Easy to Maintain: Ceraimic Tiles have a hard, solid surface, that does not attract or hold dirt, dust, pollen, or other allergens that's why it's very easy to clean.
Cost Effective: They are great for walls in any area of the home as they are cost effective whilst still giving a superior look.
Easy Installation: They are softer and easier to cut which makes the installation cost more affordable.
Environmentally-friendly: Made of natural materials, ceramic tile has no effect on the natural environment and can easily be recycled – significantly reducing your personal carbon footprint.
Porcelain Floor Tiles
Porcelain tiles are made using very fine, high quality materials with high silica content. Pressed at a high pressure rate and fired at high temperatures, they are typically much less porous than other tiles and do not always require sealing.
Porcelain tiles can either be glazed (with a gloss, matte or textured finish) or unglazed (with a natural, polished or textured finish).
To provide our customers with the best choice, Greenleaf International can offer all finishes for each range.
The Edges of porcelain Tiles are rectified.
Key benefits of porcelain tiles include:
Resistance To Wear And Tear: Porcelain Tiles can withstand majority of heavy impact
stresses and can even be used in commercial purposes. they are Robust, compact, and extremely durable.
Liquid Resistance: Because they are exceptionally compact, porcelain tile floors are highly resistant to liquid penetration compared to their more porous ceramic counterparts. And when treated with melted glass gaze, the tile can become completely impervious to water.
Stain Resistant: Porcelain tile flooring is virtually impenetrable, it would be near impossible for any chemical or liquid to leave a mark on its surface. It’s the perfect material for those who want to maintain appealing flooring for very little effort.
Fireproof: Porcelain can be heated to extreme temperatures, which means they are pretty fireproof and will not burn in any normal condition. The material also helps prevent the growth and movement of flames in case of a fire breaks out.
Holds Up In High- Traffic Areas: Porcelain floor tile is an ideal choice for the areas of the home of high traffic and will outperform other tiles in both long-term appearance and durability. Some other flooring material may quickly wear and can become scuffed and shabby- looking. But, even in high traffic, it maintains the appearance as new.
Hygienic: Porcelain tiles have been used to provide a durable coated surface that is hygienic and easy to clean, both for indoor and outdoor environments, because of their non-porous qualities.
Go Green with Porcelain tile: More use of porcelain tile instead of wood in construction that means we take one step towards making our planet more Greener
Porcelain Slim Slabs
Porcelain Slim Slabs manufacturing process are similar like porcelain tiles but here the pressure rate from pressing machine is more higher than normal porcelain tiles. Slim Slab opens new dimensions for contemporary architecture because it combines low thicknesses with large formats guaranteeing high technical performance a lower load on the floors and an aesthetic quality never seen before! The tiles which can be laid with a minimum joint enhance the rooms with unique effects of visual continuity.
it can be used on wall and floor both.
Key benefits of porcelain slim slabs are similar like porcelain tiles, in addition:
Offers a wide variety of uses: Large surfaces give way to a large number of innovative ideas regarding design, since they offer a large number of uses. It is possible to use porcelain tiles for the design of bathrooms, kitchens, countertops, work tables, among many other ideas, due to its size, consistency and high technical performance.
Create a continuity effect: The large extensions in the porcelain pieces allow coating the surfaces making use of a small number of pieces. This translates into a smaller number of groupings, which makes it possible to create a higher visual level of uniformity. As the pieces are of rectified joints, the separation between the sheets is extremely reduced.
Reduces installation time: Another advantage that we can highlight about this type of format, is the reduction of installation time. When the porcelain tile is larger, it requires a smaller number of sheets, which in turn facilitates its assembly and minimizes the time dedicated to it.
More hygienic: We have already discussed this benefit in porcelain floor tiles section, but large-format tiles are more hygienic. You wonder why? With less together, there are fewer areas in which to store the dirt. Therefore, large-scale porcelain slab is in itself more hygienic, providing, at the same time, a faster and easier cleaning.
Full Body Porcelain Tiles
Full body Porcelain Tile is unglazed porcelain tile that is composed of natural clays. As the name goes, the full body of the tile is the design and the surface color of the whole body is same. It is made using the mixture of refined natural clays and natural pigments of different colors. After passing through the sintering and pressing phase, the homogenous tile is made from the mixture. The process of making full body porcelain tile in India is quite similar to the natural process of formation of stones from sediment.
Full body tile are available in Glossy, Matte or Rough finish. There are two main versions, the speckled (salt and pepper) version and the micronized grain version. it comes in 10, 15 and 20 MM thickness.
Key benefits of full body porcelain tiles include:
Natural feel: They are available in a wide range of colors and textures, they can have the similar look and feel of stone, wood, metal and concrete.
Resistance To Wear And Tear: Full body porcelain tile can withstand majority of heavy impact
stresses and can be used in outdoor public areas. it is highly durable.
Slip Resistance: mostly full body porcelain tile comes in rough finish. Because of that, this tile is less slippery.
Fireproof: Full body porcelain tile can be heated to extreme temperatures, which means they are pretty fireproof and will not burn in any normal condition. The material also helps prevent the growth and movement of flames in case of a fire breaks out.
Holds Up In Extreme-- Traffic Areas: Full body porcelain tile is an ideal option for the Extreme traffic areas like, Airport, Street walking area, Parking places, Gardens, step & riser etc..It also comes in high thickness like 15 and 20 MM.
